Building and construction in Ballarat

From small jobs to full projects, we bring all the trades a build needs. One manager, one number, one point of blame if something is wrong.

All the trades a build needs, under one manager

From small jobs to full-scale projects, we offer all the trades required. You do not have to chase six subbies and hope they show up in the right order.

We work on homes, shops, offices, warehouses, council buildings and industrial sites across Ballarat and everything within 45 km. All trades are fully licensed and certified, and everyone on a construction site holds a White Card.

The trades we bring

Eight groups of work, from a half-day repair to a full fit-out.

Painting, plastering & handyman

Patching, sheeting, cornice, prep and paint. Plus the odd-job list that never quite gets done.

Carpentry & cabinetry

Framing, doors, decks, shelving and fit-outs. Cabinet makers build and hang kitchen and office joinery.

Glazing & glass replacement

Broken glass measured, ordered and replaced. Shopfronts, windows, doors and mirrors.

Bricklaying, rendering & tiling

New brickwork and repairs, render and patching, wall and floor tiling for wet areas and entries.

Steel, sheetmetal & welding

Steel fabricators, sheetmetal workers and welders for frames, handrails, gates, flashings and repairs.

Flooring

Carpet and vinyl laid, and timber floors sanded back. Old floor lifted and taken away first.

Curtains & blinds replacement

Measured, supplied and installed. Good for rentals and offices where old blinds are broken or unsafe.

Sign writing & line marking

Signage made and fitted, plus car park bays, arrows, walkways and disabled spaces marked out.

A single door, or the whole building

The size of the job changes the plan, not the standard of the work.

A small job might be one trade for half a day. A full project might be six trades over several weeks, sequenced so nobody is waiting on anyone else. Either way you get a quote up front and one person to ring while the work is on.

We can also work in a building that is still trading. Areas are kept safe, tools are packed away and the site is left clean at the end of each day.

How a job runs

Four steps, from your first call to the final clean.

  1. We look at the job

Tell us what you want done. For anything past a small repair we come out and take a look first.

  2. You get a written quote

The quote lists the work, the trades involved and what is not included. No surprises later.

  3. We book the trades in order

Carpenter before plasterer, plasterer before painter. We handle the sequence so the site keeps moving.

  4. We finish and clean up

We walk the job with you, fix anything on the list, then take the rubbish away.

Common questions

Do you take on small jobs?

Yes. A door that will not close, a patch of plaster, one room repainted. Small jobs get the same licensed trade as a large one.

Do I have to book each trade myself?

No. You deal with one manager. We bring in the carpenter, glazier, tiler, welder or painter the job needs, and we sort the order they work in.

Can you work in an occupied building?

Yes. We work in shops, offices, schools and council buildings that are still open. We plan the work around trading hours and keep the area safe and clean.

Are the trades licensed and insured?

Yes. All trades are fully licensed and certified. Everyone working on a construction site holds a White Card.

Got a build or a repair list?

Send us the details. We will quote the work and bring the right trades.
