Domestic, commercial and government
Leon Property Services supports a wide range of sectors across Ballarat and the region. Every site is different, so the trade we send is different too.
Some sites also need a specific card or accreditation before anyone can start. We hold those, and we say below which ones apply where.
Homes, commercial fit-outs and new builds all call for a different trade.
What each kind of site needs from us
All of it comes from the same six service lines and the same 30 trades.
Domestic housing
Homes need one person who can do the lot. We cover plumbing, electrical, painting, plastering, carpentry, tiling, flooring, kitchens, bathrooms and the garden.
Shopping centres
Centres need work done without stopping trade. We handle cleaning, pressure washing, glazing, line marking, roller doors and after-hours board-ups so the shops open in the morning.
Offices
Offices need small jobs done quickly and quietly. Painting, carpentry, HVAC servicing, IT networks and phones, security alarms, access control and scheduled cleaning.
Government sites
Government work needs licensed trades and paperwork that holds up. Electrical, plumbing, HVAC and gas works come with compliance certificates, and risk assessments are documented.
Commercial properties
Shops, warehouses and offices under one owner. We run preventative maintenance, fire protection checks, repairs and fit-outs, plus a 24/7 line when something goes wrong.
Service stations
Service stations have their own rules. Our people hold WPCG accreditation for retail site work, including Retail Site Induction, Clearance Issuer and Permit Officer.
Warehouses
Warehouses need floors, doors and safety marked out. Concrete repairs, line marking, roller doors and automatic gates, fire systems, lighting and pressure washing.
Council facilities
Council buildings are often open to the public and to young people. Working With Children Checks are mandatory for any work on youth-accessible sites, and our trades hold them.
Real estate agencies
Agencies need a trade who answers after hours. We attend urgent make safes, locksmith call-outs and storm damage, then write down what we found for the owner.
Airports
Aviation work is tightly controlled. All aviation-related works comply with CASR Part 139 and are supervised by certified Work Safety Officers.
Factories & industrial sites
Industrial sites need heavy trades. Steel fabrication, welding, mechanical and HVAC installation, earthworks, concrete, fencing, traffic control and plant operators.
Defence sites
Defence work needs licensed, certified and vetted trades. We supply fencing, security systems, access control, building repairs and site management to the same standard.
One contractor across every site you own
If you look after more than one property, you know the problem. A different contractor for each trade, and none of them talk to each other.
We bring the trades, the plant operators and the site management under one number. You get one point of contact for a house, a shopping centre and a council building.
The cards each site calls for
Some sectors will not let a trade through the gate without the right accreditation. Here is what we carry, and where it applies.
- WPCG accreditation for service stationsRequired for service station works: Retail Site Induction, Clearance Issuer and Permit Officer.
- CASR Part 139 for airportsAll aviation-related works comply with CASR Part 139 and are supervised by certified Work Safety Officers.
- Working With Children ChecksMandatory for works on youth-accessible sites, including schools and council facilities.
- White Cards on construction sitesAll workers on construction sites hold White Cards, the Construction Induction Card.
- Compliance certificatesElectrical, plumbing, HVAC and gas works include compliance certificates.
